HTML-built bookshelf

Two weeks of straight coding for work. At this point in my second year of university, I was looking for any way to get some experience. I had some fun making this, although it was a bit tedious. It’s made with links, div’s, and images. That’s it. They’re all layered. You could click on a book cover, and it would open a full-size image of the cover accompanied by the book’s title, author and synopsis.

Thankfully the website for the department I worked in has transitioned to a modern platform: with a user-friendly back end to add and edit the bookshelf. Anyways, here’s a screenshot of the entire thing. Don’t ask me for the code, because I don’t have it. Enjoy!
